INGREDIENTS


1 packet of already made Ravioli (250g)
½ onion
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tsp chopped chilli
1 tsp Chilli Flakes
400g Tomato sauce
1 tbsp Tomato puree
½ tbsp Italian herbs
Parmesan Cheese (to serve)
Basil Leaves (to serve)

 

METHOD

1.   Follow the cooking instructions on the ravioli package to cook whilst you prepare the sauce. 


2.    Heat ½ onion, chopped and 1 tbsp garlic paste in a pan over medium heat.


3.     Add 1 tsp chilli flakes, ½ tbsp italian herbs, 400g tomato sauce and 1 tbsp tomato puree, stirring well for 1 minute. 


4.     Carefully combine the cooked ravioli
with the sauce.

 

5.     To serve, top with parmesan cheese, basil leaves and (optional) chopped chilli.

Top this recipe with a sprinkle of toasted pine nuts to add a delightful crunch & nutty flavour
