INGREDIENTS
200g pancake batter (homemade or store-bought)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
A selection of berries
Maple syrup or chocolate sauce
Icing sugar (optional, for dusting)

METHOD

1.    If making homemade batter, ensure it is smooth and slightly runny. Add vanilla extract if using.


2.    Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle, piping bag, or a plastic bag with a small hole cut in the corner.


3.      Place a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with melted butter or oil.


4.     Squeeze thin lines of batter into the pan, creating spaghetti-like strands.

 

5.     Let them cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until small bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to lift.


6.     Carefully flip the pancake strands using a spatula or tongs. Cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute until golden brown.


7.     Transfer the spaghetti pancakes to a plate, arranging them in a pile like real spaghetti.


8.     Drizzle with maple syrup or chocolate sauce.


9.     Add your favourite fruits such as blueberries and raspberries


10.     Dust with icing sugar for extra sweetness.


11.     Serve warm and enjoy this fun twist on pancakes!
