INGREDIENTS
90g flour
2 eggs
30g sugar
15ml honey
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soad
10ml water
Nutella (freezes in a tray with baking parchment)
Strawberries for decoration
METHOD
1. Combine the eggs with the sugar and honey in a bowl and mix well.
2. Then add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and the water mix well.
3. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
4. Cook in a pan over medium - low heat and add a dolop of nutella in the middle of the pancake (make sure to put these in the fridge/ freezer so the chocolate sets slightly), and cover with batter.
5. Once cooked, take them out and pop them in a pile, and add icing powder over the top and strawberries for decoration
TIP
Try mixing up the spreads for white chocolate, peanut butter or caramlised biscuit flavours to suit all preferences! These pancakes also work great with a variety of toppings from bananna and chopped nuts to strawberries and raspberries or even just a dusting of icing sugar.
