INGREDIENTS
Babybel Cheese
2 scoops pancake mix
Lollipop Stick (can find these in craft isles)
Honey

METHOD

1.    In a mixing bowl, prepare the pancake mix according to the package instructions, ensuring a smooth and lump-free consistency. Transfer the batter into a tall, narrow bowl or container deep enough to allow full coverage when dipping the cheese.


2.    Carefully insert a lollipop stick through each babybel piece, ensuring it is secure but not piercing through the other end completely.


3.     Holding the lollipop stick, dip the cheese stick fully into the pancake batter, turning it to ensure an even coating. Allow any excess batter to drip off before cooking.


4.     Preheat the waffle maker and lightly grease it with cooking spray or melted butter to prevent sticking. 

 

5.     Place the coated cheese stick inside, close the waffle maker gently, and cook for about 3–5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.


6.     Carefully remove the cooked cheese
stick from the waffle maker and place it on a plate. 


7.     Drizzle with honey for a sweet-savory balance. 

TIP

Add breadcrumbs or a crushed pretzel coating before dipping in batter for a crispy shell.
