INGREDIENTS
4 large croissants, torn into chunks
125g fresh or frozen raspberries
100g milk chocolate chunks or chips
3 large eggs
120ml whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
120ml double cream
50g granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Icing sugar for dusting

 

METHOD

1.    Tear the croissants into large chunks and layer them in a lightly greased, oven-safe dish that fits your air fryer.


2.   Scatter the raspberries and milk chocolate chunks evenly among the croissant pieces.


3.     In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.


4.     Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissant pieces, ensuring all pieces are soaked.

 

5.     Press the croissants down gently with the back of a spoon to help them absorb the custard. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes.


6.     Preheat your air fryer to 170°C (340°F) for 3 minutes.


7.     Place the dish in the air fryer basket.


8.     Place the dish in the air fryer basket.


9.     Let the bake cool for 5 minutes before serving.


10.     Drizzle melted chocolate over the bake & dust with icing sugar for a finishing touch if desired.
