INGREDIENTS
Jus Rol Puff Pastry Ready Rolled
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp Ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves 
50g icing sugar
1-2 tbsp milk
A dash of vanilla extract

 

METHOD

1.    Use Jus Rol Puff Pastry Ready Rolled and lay it flat across the surface.


2.    In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves to form a spiced paste.


3.     Spread the spiced butter mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.


4.     Starting from one of the longer edges, tightly roll the dough into a log shape. Cut the log into 6-8 even pieces, depending on how thick you want your rolls.

5.     Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for a few minutes. Place the cinnamon rolls in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.


7.     While the rolls are cooking, mix the icing sugar, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to make a smooth glaze.


8.     Once the rolls are out of the air fryer, drizzle the icing over the warm rolls.


9.     Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm with their soft, spiced filling and a sweet icing drizzle!

TIP

Add a layer of finely chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds to the filling for an added crunch.
