INGREDIENTS
80g dark chocolate
55g salted butter
1 medium egg (room temp)
55g caster sugar
30g plain flour
25g milk or dark chocolate chips (+ more for the top)
METHOD
1. Start by combining 80g of dark chocolate and 55g of melted salted butter. Microwave the mixture in 1-minute intervals until fully melted.
2. Allow the melted mixture to cool for 10 minutes. Then, whisk in 1 medium egg and 55g of caster sugar until well combined.
3. Gently fold in 30g of plain flour until fully incorporated.
4. Fold in 25g of chocolate chips into the mixture.
5. Divide the batter evenly into two ramekins, smoothing out the top. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
6. Preheat the air fryer to 160 degrees Celsius and bake the brownies for 15 to 18 minutes.
7. Once done, the brownies should be soft, warm, and gooey.
TIP
Spoon a dollop of Nutella into the center of each brownie cup before baking for a gooey chocolate hazelnut surprise.
